Children and YouthPrograms for Children Nursery - During church for children ages birth through the summer following their 3rd birthday Sunday class - During church for children aged 3 through 4th grade. Vacation Bible School - Usually for children aged 3 through grade 4 or 5. Held in the evening for one week in the Summer. We usually partner with another church for VBS. This program is open to the community. We choose a different curriculum each year and have a great time learning about our faith through stories, crafts, music, play and more!
Young Disciples Program This is genreally for children in grades 5 and 6. This is a two year program for young people to learn about the Bible, the role of God and Jesus in their daily lives, and the history of our denomination among other things. This is currently a combination of online and in-person learning. In-person classes are held at 9AM on selected Sundays. The classes are taught by elders of the church. Youth Youth of the church in grades 3-12 meet throughout the school year for special events. Combined activities: Each year the children and youth put on a Christmas program. |
